Oatmeal with no sugar or dairy?
This is such an easy and fast breakfast to make, it was worth mentioning, as not every day do you have time to prep a big breakfast.
No sugar? Yes, it can be done but it’s not for the faint of heart…ha! I love my sugar, and this one was a tough one to part with. As I mentioned before, it’s a process to get use to the new taste of oatmeal without sugar, brown sugar, syrup or butter…or whatever you are use to using. I do add salt and microwave in the oven. For flavoring I use ground cinnamon and blueberries.
Oatmeal without sugar is a completely different taste, but as I mentioned before your taste buds will get use to it and then you will start to enjoy this quick breakfast or snack.
I mentioned blueberries before and fruit is the perfect replacement for sugar. Any fruit will do! I love blueberries and they are such a great antioxidant, especially wild blueberries. Add them to your oatmeal and enjoy!
